Today I completed the install of an engraved S550 Shifter Assembly and I could not be more pleased. The engraving and paint work are flawless and the unit looks terrific in the car. The red GT/CS engraving really stands out with the matching red thread Ford used on the shift boot in the “California Special” Mustangs. The install did not go exactly as planned because each small plastic component of the shifter bezel came off separately, but the unit works smoothly and looks great.
I ran into someone at a car show that had the shifter and I inquired I ended up placing a custom order and I was impressed by the quality. I get more compliments on it. It really does update the interior of the car. Be careful with the plastic lock, it can crack, they sent a replacement out immediately. I definitely would recommend this business. They do a great job and the product is better than factory. This is the way it should’ve looked. It makes your car look like it’s a Manuel.
