Short Universal Shifter for S550 Mustang with Automatic transmission

White Madness Garage short universal shifter designed and made in USA. This shifter gives you an ability to use different shift knobs available on the market which has M12x1.25 thread size.

Short universal shifter is a direct replacement for your OEM shifter with just small modification you can do in 10 minutes and still be able to switch back to OEM. All you need to switch a gear is to push on the shift knob and move the shifter.

Universal shifter made from aluminum and can be in three different finishes: polished chrome, gloss black or satin black.

The shifter comes with no shift knob so make sure you got one from us or somebody else.

• (1) ONE Plastic Insert

What you need to BUY separate:

• Shift Knob with thread size M12x1.25

• Soon you remove the OEM shifter you need to remoe the plastic piece from the leather boot and attach your shifter to the boot with the zip tie provided.
• Pull out the plastic piece from OEM shifter assembly.
• CUTTING PART! Mark and cut 1 inch from the top of the metal shaft of your OEM shifter assembly. Don't worry you will still be able to come back to STOCK OEM Shifter.
• Once it's cut smooth edges on top to make sure it will not make damages to you or your shifter.
• Install the Plastic pin inside cut metal shifter assembly. Make sure you match gap inside and the plastic piece dosn't spin around.
• Facing two holes on the Universal shifter one facing forward and one backward. Than slide everything in.
• Tighten two screws and secure the shifter on the shaft.
• Reinstall the leather boot and screw in the shift knob
